On January 28, 2022, a double homicide occurred in Mesa, Arizona, resulting in the deaths of 32-year-old Mottio Paschal and 24-year-old Makinley Charnoski. The incident took place at a home near Alma School Road and Main Street. Police were called to the scene just before 3 a.m. after a woman reported that two people had been shot in the backyard of the home.
