Michael Jacobs, a 49-year-old husband, father of two, and long-time employee of CVS Pharmacy, was tragically shot and killed on September 7, 2023, while working as a manager at a CVS store near Mesa Drive and Brown Road in Mesa, Arizona. The incident occurred after Jacobs confronted a man, later identified as Jared Sevey, who had been caught shoplifting.
