On a Wednesday evening in May, a gathering at a Mesa, Arizona, apartment complex took a tragic turn, ending the life of 16-year-old Azriel Lloyd. The incident unfolded just before 10 p.m. on May 21st at the Premiere at Dana Park apartments, located at 1439 S. Val Vista Drive. Police responded to reports of a shooting and discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a nearby hospital, but Lloyd ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
