On May 26, 2023, John Swain, a 40-year-old man, was the last victim in a series of shootings that occurred in Mesa and Phoenix, Arizona. Swain was found around 2 a.m. near the train tracks close to Extension Road and 2nd Avenue with apparent gunshot wounds.

The shootings were carried out by Iren Byers, a 20-year-old man who was later arrested and confessed to all the crimes. Byers met Swain while walking on the railroad tracks and shot him multiple times after Swain mentioned he was hom ...Read More
