On February 6, 2019, at approximately 5:30 pm, officers responded to a reported shooting at Reed Park, a skate park located near Gilbert and Broadway roads in Mesa, Arizona. Upon arrival, they found an adult male, later identified as 26-year-old Billy Ross Lucy, with gunshot wounds. Lucy was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
