Hosea Lamont Davis, a 37-year-old African American man from Penn Hills, tragically died on January 20, 2014, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was fatally shot multiple times with an assault rifle in the Larimer neighborhood. Davis was known for his bravery when he intervened to help a teenage stabbing victim at a Target store in East Liberty the previous year. Despite his own criminal record, Davis was hailed as a hero for his courageous actions.
