In the early hours of March 18, 2022, Willis DeMar Brooks, a 30-year-old male, was working as a security guard at Nerdz Lobbi, an after-hours club in Pittsburgh's Knoxville neighborhood. A certified state constable, Brooks was also a school security guard with dreams of one day becoming a police officer.
