On December 14, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at an apartment complex in Phoenix, Arizona, resulting in the death of 26-year-old Edith Rivas. The incident began with an argument over a parking spot, where Gary Parohinog, 34, became enraged because Rivas had parked her car in a way that blocked his vehicle in the driveway of their apartment complex.
