A dispute over a parking spot escalated into a fatal shooting, claiming the life of 26-year-old Edith Rivas in Phoenix, Arizona. The incident unfolded on the evening of December 14, 2023, at an apartment complex located near 13th Avenue and Mohave Street. Phoenix police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 9 p.m. and discovered Rivas suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
