Davon Lamont Rose, a 24-year-old male from Washington, D.C., was found shot on the evening of Saturday, August 24, 2002. The incident occurred in the 3800 block of Ninth Street SE, a residential area in the southeastern quadrant of the city.
Police responded to reports of the shooting at approximately 10:40 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Rose suffering from gunshot wounds.
