Tracy Atkins, a 50-year-old White male, was killed in a double shooting in North Omaha in the early minutes of June 18, 2019. Officers responding around midnight found Atkins and 57-year-old Michael Sykora dead inside a residence; witnesses in the complex reported hearing gunfire shortly before the discovery. The address was reported as an apartment home in the 6900 block of Northridge Drive, near the 36th and Ida area in North Omaha. An obituary later confirmed Atkinsï date of death as June 1 ...
