On a tragic Friday night in Omaha, Nebraska, on June 3, 2022, the life of 31-year-old Pierre R. Hightower, a Black/African American male, was cut short by gun violence. The incident unfolded near 30th and T Street, where Omaha Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a chaotic scene with multiple victims. Hightower was found deceased at the scene, the fatal victim of the violent outburst.
