In the summer of 2011, the life of 18-year-old Marquese Johnson, an African-American male, was tragically cut short in Omaha, Nebraska. On the evening of Friday, July 1st, gunshots echoed in the area of 33rd and Parker Streets. Responding to the alert, Omaha police officers discovered a grim scene.
