In the early hours of a Monday morning in Omaha, Nebraska, the life of 22-year-old Chance McCowin was tragically cut short. On August 4, 2025, a shooting incident unfolded near 24th and Patrick Avenue, an event that would leave one man dead and two others hospitalized. First responders rushed to the scene and performed CPR on McCowin as they transported him to a local hospital. Despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
