In the warm early summer of 2015, tragedy struck a family in Omaha, Nebraska, with the death of Travis Holbert, a 25-year-old African-American man. On the evening of June 28th, Holbert was sitting on the porch of his grandmother's home when he was fatally wounded by gunfire.
