Laron Rogers, a 25-year-old Black / African American male, was shot on March 6, 2017, outside a convenience store in North Omaha, Nebraska. The incident occurred at the Ames Avenue Convenience store. Initially, it was reported that the shooting happened during a robbery at the store. However, subsequent investigations and legal proceedings revealed that the event transpired during a marijuana deal that went wrong.
