Gilbert Arthur Batten Jr., 24, male, was killed in the early morning hours of September 20, 1968, inside a house at 3724 Ohio Street in Omaha. The killing took place shortly after 3:00 a.m., ending a tense evening of confrontations tied to a simmering dispute over a woman named Judy Dunbar.
