On a summer evening in Omaha, Nebraska, the life of 15-year-old Cornail Hill, a Black or African American male, was cut tragically short. On June 10, 2021, Hill was walking near 33rd and Seward Streets when he was struck by gunfire. Omaha Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area shortly before 8 p.m. and discovered Hill suffering from a gunshot wound.
