On March 27, 2021, Duop Tang Deng, a 24-year-old resident of Omaha, Nebraska, tragically lost his life due to gun violence. The incident occurred during the early morning hours when Omaha police responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Duop Tang Deng was found alongside another victim, 27-year-old Loklok Thok.
