Markeise Dunn, a 16-year-old Black male, was shot late on the morning of November 26, 2016, near 24th and Pratt Streets in Omaha while walking his girlfriend to a bus stop. Witnesses described a car pulling up alongside before gunfire erupted. Officers found Dunn critically wounded around 10:30ï 10:45 a.m.; he was taken to Creighton University Medical Center, where he died.
