On December 10, 2013, at approximately 10 p.m., 34-year-old Virgil Dunn was fatally shot near 28th and Bristol Streets in Omaha, Nebraska. Surveillance footage captured Dunn making a purchase at a liquor store near 30th and Pinkney Streets shortly before the incident. As he walked home carrying a white plastic bag, a gunshot detection system recorded six shots fired in the vicinity.
