In the pre-dawn hours of October 28, 2024, a domestic disturbance in a home in Omaha, Nebraska, escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 45-year-old Rebecca Nutter Geiger, a White female. The incident unfolded at her residence in Sarpy County, south of Highway 50 and Giles Road. A 911 call was made by Geiger's 19-year-old daughter, who reported that her father, Rory Geiger, had shot her mother and was also threatening her with a firearm.
