On December 15, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska, 6-year-old Alonni Barfield tragically lost her life due to a gunshot wound. Emergency responders arrived at a residence near 32nd Street and Redick Avenue around 4 p.m., where they found Alonni critically injured. She was immediately transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center but, despite medical efforts, succumbed to her injuries.
