Death by Force

Jay Stratton, a 33-year-old Black male, was killed on October 31, 2006, after a violent home invasion at 72 North Draper Circle in the Meadowbrook Acres neighborhood of Magnolia, Delaware. According to investigators, multiple people inside the residence were confronted, ordered to the floor, and bound as the assailants took control of the scene. Stratton was taken from the house, and when he tried to get away he was shot outside, fatally wounded before he could escape.
