Black/African American male David Thomas, age 41, set out on September 15, 2023, to visit family in Kent County, Delaware, borrowing a relative’s car and telling loved ones he’d return. He did not come back. In the days that followed, calls went unanswered and worry hardened into fear; by September 22, his family reported him missing and a statewide Gold Alert went out as detectives tried to trace his path through the Dover–Magnolia area.
