Heather Cox, a 27-year-old woman from Loranger, Louisiana, was found shot to death on October 11, 2016. Her body was discovered on the side of Briarpatch Cemetery Road in Loranger. Detectives from the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office reported that she had been shot in the upper torso.
