Black/African American, 34-year-old male Thomas Christopher Deputy was discovered in the early morning hours of October 2, 2015, inside a parked vehicle on the 400 block of Barrister Place in Dover, Delaware. First responders tried to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene; the death was swiftly ruled a homicide caused by a single gunshot wound to the upper body.
