On October 17, 2015, a tragic home invasion occurred in Dover, Delaware, resulting in the deaths of 52-year-old Clifton Leager and 18-year-old Haley Henwood. In the early hours, two armed intruders, identified as 21-year-old Saleem Shabazz and 23-year-old Matthew Harrington, both from Philadelphia, forced their way into Leager's residence on John Clark Road in the Rodney Village area. During a struggle, Leager was fatally shot, and his adult son, Jacob Leager, sustained gunshot wounds.
