On January 5, 2004, Kenneth Ekwenye, aged 45, was found murdered in the rear of the 1700 block of Lincoln Road NE, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. Responding officers from the Metropolitan Police Department discovered Ekwenye, who had been killed by an unknown assailant. The homicide case remains unsolved, and the Metropolitan Police Department's Violent Crimes Branch continues to investigate the incident.
