On April 7, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Navarre, Florida, resulting in the death of 43-year-old Toby Hill. The incident took place just after 1 p.m. in the 2600 block of Salamanca Street.
Upon arrival, deputies found Toby Hill with a gunshot wound, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, identified as 41-year-old Aubrey Luker, was believed to be in a nearby building. To apprehend Luker, SWAT was deployed.
