On June 1, 2017, 20-year-old Amber Marie Buckler was found deceased from a gunshot wound in a room at the First State Inn in Dover, Delaware. Authorities arrested 21-year-old Darren Weiford at the scene, identifying him as the perpetrator and noting that the incident appeared to be domestic-related.
