Anna Kathryn Hurst, a 30-year-old White/Caucasian woman, was found dead on the morning of August 21, 2021, in a cornfield in Dover, Delaware. A farmer discovered her body on his property off of Dyke Branch Road and immediately contacted the authorities. The initial investigation by the Delaware State Police revealed that Hurst had sustained gunshot wounds to her upper body and her death was quickly ruled a homicide.
