On a quiet Sunday morning, April 20, 2025, the community of Dover, Delaware, was disturbed by a grim discovery. Brittani Hollis, a 33-year-old Black / African American woman, was found deceased inside a vehicle on the shoulder of the road near the intersection of Sharon Hill Road and Cahoon Branch Road. The tragic scene unfolded just before 7:30 a.m. when Delaware State Police were called to investigate reports of two unresponsive individuals.
