On a quiet Sunday morning, April 20, 2025, the community of Dover, Delaware, was disturbed by a grim discovery. Brittani Hollis, a 33-year-old Black / African American woman, was found deceased inside a vehicle on the shoulder of the road near the intersection of Sharon Hill Road and Cahoon Branch Road. Inside the car with Hollis was 35-year-old Kamal Paddy, also of Dover. Both individuals had sustained what appeared to be fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
