On the evening of April 3, 2019, Wilmington Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1400 block of West Third Street. Upon arrival, officers found 31-year-old Kevis Lachin Tyler suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Christiana Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
