On July 10, 2019, at approximately 8:26 p.m., Delaware State Police responded to a residence in the 15000 block of Winner Circle in Lincoln, Delaware, following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Brian D. Chirdon suffering from a gunshot wound. He was initially transported to Sussex Bayhealth Hospital in Milford and later transferred to Christiana Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
