Demarkus Curtis, a 29-year-old African American male, was found fatally shot inside his SUV on July 13, 2021, in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred on Easter Avenue, where officers responded to a shooting call around 7:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Curtis inside his vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire and Rescue transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
