On January 1, 2024, 25-year-old José Fernando Chacón-Navarrete was found with gunshot wounds near the 6900 block of Bexar Street in Dallas, Texas. Originally from Antiguo Cuscatlán, El Salvador, José had moved to Dallas seeking a safer life. Tragically, his life was cut short on New Year's Day.
