Jeremy Michael Averett, a 22-year-old man from Dallas, Texas, tragically lost his life on March 23, 2020. According to police reports, Averett was fatally shot during a late-night drug deal. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. near the 11600 block of Dennis Road. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Averett slumped over in the driver's seat with a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
