On June 1, 2020, at approximately 6:54 p.m., Dover police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 300 block of Kesselring Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 31-year-old Mykal Sean Learmond Dempster deceased inside a vehicle, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. A nearby residence was also struck by stray bullets during the incident.
