Namir Brown-Sullivan, a 25-year-old Black male from Wilmington, Delaware, was killed on September 9, 2020, after gunfire broke out in the 3400 block of Church Street in Wilmington. What began as a Wednesday evening in the city's Eastlawn area became a double-shooting investigation when police responded around 6:38 p.m. and found two men wounded by gunfire.
