Murdered

On September 23, 2020, 21-year-old Shareef Hamilton, affectionately known as "Butter," was fatally shot outside the Dash In gas station convenience store on the 1000 block of Delaware Avenue in Wilmington, Delaware. The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m., and Hamilton later succumbed to his injuries at Christiana Hospital. The motive for the shooting remained under investigation at the time.
