On April 25, 2021, in Clayton, Delaware, a tragic incident unfolded resulting in the deaths of three individuals. At approximately 1:05 p.m., Delaware State Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 300 block of Hopewell Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 48-year-old Russell N. Bell outside near a horse stable, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. Despite receiving first aid and being transported to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead.
