On December 12, 2020, at approximately 9:17 p.m., New Castle County police officers responded to a shooting incident at 39 Fairway Road in the Hunters Crossing Apartments, Newark, Delaware. Upon arrival, they discovered 18-year-old Iris Nicole Longakit and 23-year-old Allen Huff inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate first aid efforts, both victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
