Lamar Washington, a 30-year-old man from Wilmington, Delaware, was fatally shot on the evening of September 13, 2022. Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 25th and Market Streets around 8:00 p.m., where they found Washington suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by emergency responders to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
