In the early hours of a Monday morning in Atlanta, a dispute that began inside a convenience store tragically escalated, claiming the life of 32-year-old Eric McElroy. On February 20, 2023, McElroy, a male, was shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Little Bear Food Mart on Jonesboro Road in the Lakewood Heights neighborhood. The incident unfolded around 1:30 a.m., when an argument that started within the store spilled outside and turned deadly.
