In the early morning hours of October 1, 2020, the life of 32-year-old Chiurazzi Bailey, a male known to his friends and family as 'King Whoa,' was tragically cut short in Atlanta, Georgia. Bailey was leaving the Little Bear Food Mart on Jonesboro Road shortly before 5:30 a.m. when he was fatally shot in the chest.
The brazen attack did not appear to be a random act of violence, according to Atlanta police investigators.
After shooting Bailey, a masked suspect was seen going through his pockets before fleeing the scene. The assailant was observed leaving in a black sedan.
In the days following the homicide, authorities released surveillance footage of a person and vehicle of interest, hoping to gather leads from the public. A reward was also offered for any information that would lead to an arrest and indictment in the case.
