On a Sunday evening in Bridgeville, Delaware, the life of a young Black/African American man, 23-year-old Orbby Holder, was tragically cut short. On May 14, 2023, what began as a party on Mill Park Drive descended into violence. An altercation broke out between Holder and another man, escalating to the point where the other individual drew a handgun and shot Holder. The incident occurred at approximately 7:01 p.m., leaving Holder with fatal gunshot wounds in the front yard of a residence.
