On December 2, 2021, in Bridgeville, Delaware, 71-year-old Peter Colletti was fatally shot in his home in the 100 block of Emilys Pintail Drive. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. when Colletti and his wife returned home. While his wife was in a first-floor bathroom, she heard footsteps upstairs, where her 58-year-old brother, Joseph Caldarera, resided. Immediately after, she heard a loud bang.
