Tavyon M. Sykes, an 18-year-old from Bridgeville, Delaware, was tragically killed on January 25, 2018, in what authorities later described as a senseless act of violence. Sykes' death was the result of a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours in the area of Mitchell Street in Seaford, Delaware. The shooting left Sykes with multiple gunshot wounds, and despite efforts by emergency responders to save him, he was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the hospital.
