The quiet community of Bridgeville, Delaware was shaken on the morning of November 27, 2019, when the Delaware State Police responded to a report of gunshots in the 11000 block of Evans Drive. Upon arrival at approximately 11:30 am, they discovered a blue Honda Civic off the road in a wooded area. Inside the vehicle, they found 45-year-old James B. Bradt, a resident of Bridgeville, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
