Aaron Reid, a 44-year-old Black/African American male, was found mortally wounded after gunfire broke out near Pleasant and Harrison Streets in Wilmington late on the night of July 11, 2023. Officers from the Wilmington Police Department’s Uniformed Services Division responded to reports of shots fired and discovered Reid suffering from critical injuries.
